Insect Pinning Class: Prepare and Pin Pretty Butterflies
Couldn't get enough of our butterflies and moths? We are bringing them back in a new way! Join us in this class as we teach you how to pin and mount your own butterfly with the guidance of an arthropod expert. Prepare, pin and mount a variety of spectacular tropical butterflies. All specimens are included in the class cost and we provide materials for use. Butterfly species will vary due to availability. No prior experience is required.
No harsh or dangerous chemicals are used. No specimens are killed for the sake of taxidermy or entomology.
Cancelation Policy Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. All classes take place outside, in the Garden. If inclement weather or a safety concern is expected, guests will be notified at least 24 hours prior to the start of the class via email. In the event of class cancelation, class ticket(s) will be refunded.
Price: $124/person for Members, $139/person for Non-Members.
