Bespoke Picnic in the Lower Meadow
Treat Mom to a Bespoke Picnic for 4 on the Lower Meadow. This picnic is complete with lawn games and a photo-op as well as a charcuterie box for 4, filled with finger sandwiches, baked goods, desserts, cured meats, and cheeses. The two-hour Bespoke Picnics are available Saturday, May 13, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 12 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and from 2 - 4 p.m. There are only 6 reservations available for Mother's Day Bespoke Picnics, so reserve early. If you have more than 4 people but less than 8, you must reserve two tables and we will adjoin them.

Pick up a Picnic Box for 4 and take it with you to any open part of the Garden. Filled with an assortment of finger sandwiches, baked goods, desserts, cured meats and cheeses, these Picnic Boxes are limited and you must order in advance. Parent & Me: Bug Expedition!
Recommended for K-2nd graders
Calling all junior entomologists to discover and learn about the bugs in the garden! You will create your own identification guide that you can use at South Coast Botanic Garden and eve your own backyard! Each child will use a magnifying glass, notebook, pencil, and crayons to record their findings. All supplies needed will be provided. Expedition will take place in rain or shine.
Price: $7 per kid, parents/guardians are free for the expedition but still need General Admission. Non-member General Admission tickets can be purchased here or free Member tickets can be reserved here.

Creating a Butterfly-Friendly Garden
This class will be held outdoors.
This class invites both adults and children to come learn how to attract butterflies to your yard with just a few additions. Make and take your own butterfly puddler that you can put in your garden to offer your local butterflies water, minerals and a resting place. Butterflies and other pollinators will thank you by calling your garden “home.” Please bring a recycled 12”-18” sturdy plastic or clay tray to create a butterfly puddler. All other supplies will be provided.
This class is recommended for children 5 years and up!

This ticket permits entry into South Coast Botanic Garden and the SOAR butterfly pavilion. This ticket includes your Garden Admission. You do not need a separate General Admission ticket.
Butterfly Feeding Experience!
Purchase a ticket that includes our brand-new Butterfly Feeding Experience! For just $6 more, you can get an even more unique and personal experience with the butterflies. Each Butterfly Feeding Experience ticket holder will be provided a vial with nectar that will help entice butterflies to come close to you for the optimum and most immersive experience. There will be one vial per Butterfly Feeding Experience ticket holder, which is returned at the end of the experience.

General Photo Pass Rules and Agreement
Thank you for purchasing a General Photography permit.
A General Photography permit is $50.00 for your entire party and allows for 60 minutes of shoot time. Each individual is $15 each. Additional equipment, such as tripods or lighting equipment, is not permitted and only approved with the VIP level pass only. Wedding attire and parties greater than 5 also require the VIP photo permit. Photo passes permits and tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your permit and photo pass tickets are only valid for the date listed on the ticket. Exiting with re-entry is not permitted.

VIP Admission - VIP ticket purchasers get unlimited access to SOAR - Tropical Butterflies throughout the evening, designated premium lawn seating on the Upper Meadow (still bring a blanket or a lawn chair), access to a VIP-only bar, early entry at 5 p.m., and a ticket for a free Butterfly Palmer or lemonade.
Only VIP tickets can be purchased at the 5 p.m. timeslot. General Admission tickets are purchased at the 5:30 p.m. timeslot.

5:00 p.m. - Doors Open for VIP Ticket Holders
5:30 p.m. - Doors Open for General Admission
6 - 6:45 p.m. - First Music Session
7:15 -8 p.m. - Second Music Session

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that:
- Professionally trained service dogs are allowed in the Garden, though Emotional Support animals are not permitted. Service dogs must be in the control of the owner at all times.
- Outside food and beverage is not allowed during the Sunset Series

Sit & Stay A While: Basic Tips to Socialize Your Pet
Calling all pet parents! Does your pup love to socialize? Do they have difficulty concentrating on commands in high-traffic areas? This on-leash, public obedience class might be perfect for them, and you! It's a paw-some opportunity to help dogs of all ages be more comfortable around each other, learn to listen despite distractions, and to get some good bonding time with their owners and new classmates.
*If your fur-baby is on the older side, has breathing challenges, or is showing signs of illness, including sneezing and/or wheezing, please consider keeping them at home for the health of all our four-legged friends visiting the Garden. Thank you for your cooperation!
One ticket per person participating. Dogs are free but must have a human.
Price: $20/person for Members, $25/person for Non-Members
Members, please make sure you are logged in via the top right-hand corner before adding your ticket(s) to your cart. The 10% discount will not apply in the cart if you are not logged in.
Cancelation Policy: Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. All classes take place outside, in the Garden. If inclement weather or a safety concern is expected, guests will be notified at least 24 hours prior to the start of the class via email. In the event of class cancelation, class ticket(s) will be refunded.
By purchasing this ticket, you hereby grant and convey unto South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation Inc. all rights, title and interest in any and all photographs and video/audio/electronic recordings of you, including as to your name, image, voice, and likeness made by or on behalf of any of the South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation Inc. during your visit to the garden premises and surrounding areas, including, but not limited to, the right to use such materials for any purpose and to any royalties, proceeds or other benefits derived from them.
