Howl-o-ween Costume Contest

This month’s dog walking hours are happening so close to Halloween, we’ve decided to up the ante. We invite you AND your four-legged friend(s) to come to the Garden dressed in costume for our Howl-o-ween Costume Contest. Take a picture of you and/or your pup dressed in costume in the Garden on October 30 and post it on Instagram using hashtag #SCBGCostumeContest and be entered to win 2 tickets to our upcoming light exhibit (more info on that to come soon!). Tickets for dog walking hours are same as General Admission (free for Members and up to $15 for non-members), plus $5 per dog.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the Garden's following rules:
- Dogs must be attended and on a leash at all times while onsite (onsite includes parking lot). Guests with dogs unattended or off-leash will be asked to leave the Garden immediately.
- Keep 6’ apart from other humans AND dogs! This is for everyone’s safety.
- All non-vaccinated humans must wear a cloth face mask in all designated areas of the Garden for anyone 2 years and older.
- All dogs must be socialized and have updated vaccinations and registrations.
- For the safety of both your dog and the natural environment, stay on established paved and dirt paths, routes and trails. This protects all life forms (plants and animals)!
- By participating in Special Dog Walking Hours, owners take full responsibility for their dog’s/dogs’ behavior.
- Please leave the Garden as you found it! Clean up after your dog. Bags are available throughout the Garden.
