Music x Flowers and General Admission

South Coast Botanic Garden, “The Jewel of the Peninsula,” is located on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula. Come explore our 87-acres featuring more than 2,500 different species of plants, 5 miles of trails and 10 meadows. Bring your walking shoes and a picnic to make the most out of your day.

Music x Flowers at South Coast Botanic Garden will highlight African Americans in floriculture through a series of immersive experiences, including classes, music, fashion, and food and beverage. All are welcome to enjoy the activities, which includes two Wellness x Flowers programs (at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) featuring gentle yoga, guided meditations and floral arranging. Both of these programs have limited availability and require advance registration to reserve your spot, which you can do below. Throughout the day, there will also be local artists working on five major floriculture installations inspired by LA music and culture that visitors can watch being created in real-time.

The event truly merges Southern California music, fashion and floriculture in a way that’s never been done before. This is a Garden first you won’t want to miss!

It is strongly recommended that children wear a mask on playgrounds and in other outdoor spaces where they gather if distancing is not possible or practical. If you are not fully vaccinated, it is strongly recommended that you wear a mask in crowded outdoor settings. If you are in a setting where you are in sustained close contact with other people who may not be fully vaccinated, consider wearing a higher level of protection, such as wearing two masks (double masking) or an N95 respirator. This is especially important if you are not fully vaccinated and are in an indoor or crowded outdoor setting.
