Bespoke Picnic in Hawk's Meadow
Treat Mom to a Bespoke Picnic for 4 in Hawk's Meadow. Our Picnic Package includes a low picnic table, blankets, décor, dinnerware, flatware, drinkware, napkins, and a reserved semi-private location. Your picnic will be completed with a charcuterie box for 4, filled with finger sandwiches, baked goods, desserts, cured meats, and cheeses. The two-hour Bespoke Picnics are available Saturday, May 10th, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 11, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. There are only 6 reservations available for Mother's Day Bespoke Picnics, so reserve early. Parent & Me: Pollination Exploration!
Join us for a hands-on adventure where kids and their grown-ups will discover the magic of pollination! Through interactive activities, we’ll learn about different pollinators—like bees, butterflies, and birds—why they’re essential for plants, and how to identify which pollinators visit which flowers based on their shapes, colors, and scents. Each child will receive special materials to explore nature up close, record their observations, and draw what they see. Get ready for fun games, up-close discoveries, and a special take-home knowledge to help pollinators in your own backyard!

Tea Ceremony
Join us in our beautiful Dorothy and John Bohannon Rose Garden as we partner with the Urasenke Tankokai Los Angeles Association to bring you an authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony experience. Guests will observe a traditional tea ceremony, hosted and narrated by experts from the Urasenke Association, and will then enjoy a modified tea service. There you will be immersed in understanding the Way of Tea called Chado and enjoy authentic matcha and Japanese sweets. The experience highlights the zen philosophy of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility and offers a mindful experience.

SOAR Tropical Butterflies and Garden Admission
This ticket permits entry into South Coast Botanic Garden and the SOAR butterfly pavilion. This ticket includes your Garden Admission. You do not need a separate General Admission ticket. Your SOAR ticket time is when you will enter the SOAR Pavilion.

What is the Butterfly Feeding Experience?
For just $6 more, you will be provided a vial with nectar that will help entice butterflies to come close to you for the optimum and most immersive experience. There will be one vial per Butterfly Feeding Experience ticket holder, which is returned at the end of the experience.

Sit & Stay A While: Basic Tips to Socialize Your Pet
Does your pup like to make new friends? Maybe a little too enthusiastically? Or maybe they're more introverted, and couldn't be less interested in greeting anyone, four or two-legged. No matter on what end of the social spectrum your dog falls, this socialization meet-and-greet is perfect for them! Our instructor will lead them through how to say hello on-leash, how to recognize a safe interaction, and give individualized advice to each pet parent on how to best care for their pal!

GYM: GOAT YOGA AND MIMOSAS
Hit the G.Y.M. this New Year at the Garden - goats, yoga & mimosas! Enjoy a delicious treat before taking part in this fitness craze and practicing your flow in the presence of live goats. Bring your mat, camera and good humor for an outdoor yoga practice you won’t soon forget, held in a fenced-in area with four furry farm companions. Your purchase for goat yoga includes a mimosa (or orange juice, for those under 21), 60-minute yoga session and admission to the Garden all day. No experience required.
