Parent and Me: Butterflies 101
Calling all junior entomologists to discover and learn about the Tropical Butterflies visiting our SOAR pavilion! Guests will get an up close and personal guided experience, starting at our Emergence Chamber Window, through our Host and Nectar Garden, and finishing up in our Pavilion with hundreds of tropical butterflies. Kids will create their own identification guide that you can use at South Coast Botanic Garden and even their own backyard! Each child will use a magnifying glass, notebook, pencil, and crayons to record their findings.
All supplies needed will be provided. This class will take place rain or shine! Price includes general garden admission, admission into SOAR and the class.
All parents and children require a ticket.
Cancelation Policy Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. All classes take place outside, in the Garden. If inclement weather or a safety concern is expected, guests will be notified at least 24 hours prior to the start of the class via email. In the event of class cancelation, class ticket(s) will be refunded.
By purchasing this ticket, you hereby grant and convey unto South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation Inc. all rights, title and interest in any and all photographs and video/audio/electronic recordings of you, including as to your name, image, voice, and likeness made by or on behalf of any of the South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation Inc. during your visit to the garden premises and surrounding areas, including, but not limited to, the right to use such materials for any purpose and to any royalties, proceeds or other benefits derived from them. You understand that you will not have any ownership interest in or to such photographs, images and/or recordings, you have not been provided or promised any compensation, and hereby waive any rights, privileges or claims based on any right of publicity, privacy, ownership or any other rights arising, relating to or resulting from the photographs, images and/or recordings. You understand and agree that this paragraph also applies to minor child(ren) who are entering the garden with you.
